Scientific storytelling doesn't have to be boring

Washington State University launched our new “Here. We. Go.” campaign last August. Over the course of the fall my team and I worked on deepening that campaign through stories highlighting some of the incredible things WSU is doing for Washingtonians.

The challenges with this video series was to keep it in line with the powerful anthem video that kicked off the campaign, pinpoint the heart of each story, and put it all together in a dynamic 60-second mini-doc/hype video hybrid that wasn't boring.

One of those stories spotlights our extension center that’s working on solutions to salmon mortality issues in urban streams. I’m excited to share this project with you. We have two videos in this series completed and will be doing more in the coming months. Enjoy.
